The 2025 First Annual JuJu's Dino Dash
What began as an idea born from unimaginable loss became something truly extraordinary.
On April 12, 2025, our first annual JuJu's Dino Dash brought together family, friends, neighbors, sponsors, volunteers, and complete strangers who chose to stand beside us in honoring the life of our sweet Julian "JuJu" Myles Wood. Together, we turned love into action and heartbreak into hope.
Because of this incredible community, our inaugural race was more than just a 5K—it became a celebration of JuJu's joyful spirit and a promise that his legacy will continue to make a difference.
Every step taken, every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who believed in our mission, and every participant who crossed the finish line helped create opportunities for local youth through scholarships and community initiatives.
One of our proudest accomplishments was being able to award 7 scholarships totaling $10,500, ensuring that JuJu's light continues to shine through the dreams and futures of deserving students.
To everyone who ran, walked, donated, sponsored, volunteered, cheered, or simply shared our story—thank you. You helped create something that will live on for years to come.
The first annual JuJu's Dino Dash was only the beginning. JuJu's legacy is alive in every life we touch, and we can't wait to continue this journey together.
Run for JuJu. Remember JuJu. Continue JuJu's legacy. 🦖💙
